In her first season with the Screaming Eagles, she helped accumulate NFCA Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors and lead the screagle offense to the division II world series.

Carrasco worked primarily with USI's catchers and hitters.

During her collegiate playing career she made stops at Michigan State University and Fresno State.

At Michigan State, Carrasco set the program's freshman record when she hit 11 home runs, good enough for ninth in the Big Ten. A native of Woodlake, California, Carrasco graduated from Fresno State in May 2021 with a degree in communications. In 2022 she graduated from Southern Indiana with her master's degree in science and sport management. She is currently pursuing her teaching credential in P.E from National University.
